RN Infection Preventionist / Staff Development Coordinator Camellia Health and Rehabilitation Center Mobile, Alabama Camellia Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an Infection Preventionist and Staff Development Coordinator. This role combines clinical leadership, employee education, and infection prevention to help ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance. If you enjoy mentoring staff, improving clinical outcomes, and making a meaningful impact across an entire facility, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Lead the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program. Monitor infection surveillance activities and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and provide orientation, annual education, and ongoing training for nursing staff. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS and CDC guidelines. Partner with nursing leadership to promote quality improvement initiatives. Conduct clinical audits and assist with survey readiness. Maintain required documentation, reporting, and education records. Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, nursing assistants, and other team members. Help foster a culture focused on education, safety, and exceptional resident care. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama. Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long term care setting preferred. Previous experience with infection prevention, employee education, or clinical leadership is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
