Job Description

Vasona Creek Healthcare is hiring - IP Nurse ( Infection Prevention Nurse) Come join our great team as a IP Nurse (Infection Prevention Nurse). We are looking for a compassionate, caring and very detail oriented Nurse to join our team to manage the IP in our facility.
What you will do:
  • Assists in development of reports and consulting departmental staff and others regarding epidemiologic findings.
  • Assists in implementation, and maintenance of disease surveillance systems.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of state and local public and individual health problems and programs. Collects, analyzes, and interprets statistical data in accordance with all applicable guidelines as needed.
  • Uses appropriate formats and within established timeframes, completes necessary reports, graphs, and charts necessary for accurate, current information distribution.
  • Assists with the development of policies and procedures for new and existing disease control programs Demonstrates flexibility and innovation in developing recommendations for improvements Assists as assigned with testing and implementation of new procedures to ensure desired results.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the epidemiology and the control of certain infections and/or chronic diseases, as well as of state and local public health programs, policies, and procedures in providing explanations and answers.
  • Participates in special projects as assigned, coordinating with other staff as necessary. Benefits
