Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator and Infection Preventionist Nurse Join the Distinctive Team at Capitol City Rehabilitation and Nursing! Capitol City Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 360-bed skilled rehabilitation and healthcare facility nestled in the heart of Washington, D.C., is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator and Infection Preventionist to join our esteemed team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in promoting quality care, patient education, and infection prevention.
Responsibilities:
Educate staff and residents on infection control procedures, ensuring a culture of prevention and safety throughout the facility Serve as a liaison between the facility and community education resources, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing Work closely with the
DON/ADON
to develop and implement education programs related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation, improving resident care and quality outcomes Analyze and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with State Nurse Practice Act and facility standards Develop and implement educational programs, materials, and resources to support staff development and professional growth
