Fort Myers, Florida Job Summary:
Page Rehabilitation, a leading provider of short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced ADON/Infection Preventionist to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality care and infection prevention. ADON/Infection Preventionist Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures to prevent and control the spread of infections Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action Provide guidance and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with industry standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork
ADON/Infection Preventionist Requirements:
Prior experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Infection Preventionist Current RN license in the state of Florida Strong leadership and management skills with experience in interdisciplinary team management
