Staff Development Coordinator (RN) - Infection Prevention Karcher Post Acute Karcher Post Acute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator with Infection Prevention experience . We are a great place to work with a supportive team environment, and we're looking for a motivated nurse who is passionate about education, quality care, and maintaining high infection prevention standards. Position Summary The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing staff education and training programs while overseeing infection prevention practices within the facility. This role plays a key part in supporting staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the overall quality of care for our residents. Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct staff orientation and ongoing education programs Provide training and competency validation for nursing staff Oversee and support the facility's infection prevention and control program Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with leadership to promote quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate education and infection control documentation Support staff development and promote a positive learning environment Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required Infection Prevention experience required Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for staff development and quality patient care What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in staff development and resident care If you are an RN with a passion for education and infection prevention, we would love to hear from you.
