Job Description

Infection Preventionist Holds a current state license or an appropriate certification Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing, public health, epidemiology, clinical laboratory science/ medical technology (ASCP), public health, epidemiology or related field 5 years clinical experience required Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology is preferred The Infection Preventionist (IP) is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections. The IP collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams and individuals to create infection prevention plans, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies to provide a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
