We're seeking the right candidate for the position of RN ADON/Infection Preventionist at Trinity Trace Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support. Essential Qualifications:
Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the nursing department. Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of competent department personnel. Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling regular in-service training classes that provide instruction and ensure a well-educated nursing department while keeping up with Federal and State educational requirements. Monitors and guide the completion of assessments in a timely manner. Schedules and facilitates care plan conferences Facilitates monthly QM meetings Manages Care Planning Process. Assist in developing, presenting, and evaluating education and training for employees. Conduct regular infection control risk assessments. Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures. Educate staff on infection control protocols and best practices. Monitor compliance with infection control standards. Investigate and report any outbreaks of infectious diseases. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed. Review patient documentation for accuracy in infection-related data. Monitor and track patient outcomes related to infections. Stay current on OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements related to infection prevention. Assist in the management of the Nursing Department with high professional and personal standards. Plan, organize, coordinate and direct all the nursing functions for all nursing personnel to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times in a cost-effective manner. Exercises administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for nursing service objectives, policies and procedures, nursing functions and activities, nursing care, and the nursing staff and their training and any other tasks or responsibilities assigned.The Ideal Candidate:
Current Nursing license in the state of Louisiana (RN Preferred) Experience in Long-Term Care settings 3 years management experience preferred Excellent Communication Skills required Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision Flexible hours requiredOther Qualifications:
Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs. Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment. What We Bring to theTable:
