The Infection Prevention (IP) Director is responsible for the Infection Prevention Program within the CoxHealth scope of service as outlined in the Infection Prevention Plan. The program is designed to protect the overall health of patients, families, visitors, staff (paid or volunteer) and physicians who visit or work in one of our CoxHealth locations. The IP Director is responsible for direct oversight of the Infection Prevention Services Department and all epidemiological activities.
Education:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in
Nursing, Epidemiology, or Public Health Preferred:
Master's degree or higher in leadership or Healthcare administration
Experience:
Required:
3-5 years' experience in
Healthcare Preferred:
2 years of supervisory experience
