The assignment is located within travel distance of Billings, MT, and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight for infection prevention programs within the hospital setting, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Assess, develop, and implement infection control policies and procedures to reduce hospital-acquired infections and promote a safe environment for staff and patients. Monitor infection control activities, analyze data, and prepare reports for hospital administration to inform quality improvement initiatives. Educate and train hospital staff on infection prevention practices, policies, and updated protocols to maintain high standards of patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement best practices and support hospital efforts in achieving infection prevention goals.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Infection Prevention certification is preferred; Leadership or Supervisor certification is advantageous. Minimum of 3 years of recent infection prevention experience; supervisory or managerial experience in infection prevention is strongly preferred. Professional, team-player attitude, ability to follow facility protocols, assist on the floor when needed, independence in completing assigned tasks, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in hospital settings with LTC and acute care experience strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Infection Prevention certification is preferred. Supervisory or managerial experience in infection prevention is strongly preferred. LTC and acute care experience is strongly preferred.
