RN Infection Preventionist Mohawk Meadows Rehab and Nursing Center Newton, NJ, USA Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Infection Preventionist to join our team at Mohawk Meadows Rehab and Nursing Center. Responsibilities:

Conduct risk assessments and surveillance to identify and prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control policies and procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control measures Monitor and report on infection rates and trends to identify areas for improvement Develop and maintain a comprehensive infection prevention and control program, including auditing and surveillance Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce HAIs Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and accreditation organizations

Requirements:

Current licensure as a RN/LPN in the state of New Jersey Minimum 1 year of experience in infection prevention and control or related field Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control principles and practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the
