The Infection Prevention RN Director becomes part of the Quality Division, an integrated team dedicated to quality, safety, and performance improvement where strategic vision is translated into frontline practice. The Infection Prevention RN Director reports directly to the Chief Quality Officer while partnering closely with the Associate Chief Quality Officer, Physician Medical Directors, Clinical Managers, and Infection Preventionists across acute care, ambulatory, and post-acute settings. This leader provides enterprise oversight for CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and NHSN reporting, ensures continuous survey readiness, directs outbreak response and escalation activities, and aligns antimicrobial stewardship initiatives with Pharmacy and Laboratory teams through effective use of antibiograms and surveillance data to address antimicrobial resistance.
