Job Description

We're looking for a sharp and passionate Infection Preventionist / Staffing Coordinator to join our team! The Infection Preventionist role is perfect for someone trained in using data, systems, analysis, and education to prevent and contain the spread of infectious agents. Staffing Coordinators play a vital role in organizing and sustaining staffing. If you thrive under pressure this could be the position for you! Responsibilities and Purpose Identifies infectious disease processes. Surveillance and epidemiologic investigation. Prevention and control of the transmission of infectious agents. Conducts educational activities to ensure the adoption of infection control practices. Organizes and sustains staffing within the facility. Understands staffing needs. Able to identify hard to fill roles and take actions to fill. Desired Experience and Education Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License. Minimum 2 years infection prevention and control experience, preferably in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment. Works well under pressure and on deadline for a large facility. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience in a long-term care environment preferred . Experience coordinating personnel schedules in long-term care preferred .
