JOB SUMMARY

The primary purpose of the Infection Preventionist (RN) (LPN) is to directly oversee our infection control program within our Skilled Nursing facility and ensure all policies and procedures are being followed. This position will partner with the DNS to contribute to implementing Sapphire policies and procedures and making sure the staff is well trained in Infection Control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Infection control surveillance in Skilled Nursing environment Tracking and trending facility infections amongst staff and residents Infection Preventionist (RN) (LPN) will manage Immunization tracking Staff and resident education Partner with DNS for infection control projects Member of the quality assurance committee Other Duties as Assigned

REQUIREMENTS

RN or LPN License in State of practice Experience in Skilled Nursing Preferred
