JOB SUMMARY

The PD & Process Technician supports the Process team by carrying out manufacturing projects that ensure successful process development and line trials. This role plays a key part in launching new products and processes while maintaining food safety, quality, and customer standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the PD & Process team in launching new products and processes. Responsible for preparing factory documentation for trials, including scale‑ups, raw material requests, and trial documentation. Attends and supports factory trials and initial production runs to maintain product quality levels. Ensures all line trial outputs are fully documented and meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements. Participates in assessing equipment capability to ensure process standards align with company and customer expectations and drive improvements. Conducts organoleptic reviews and analysis to help determine product shelf life. Reviews factory data in preparation for product launch. Prepares analytical information and factory documentation for launch. Contributes to overall team success through leadership, collaboration, and completion of related tasks. Management retains discretion to add or modify duties at any time . Work Environment Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, cold (coolers/freezers), hot (processing equipment), and moving mechanical parts. Noise level ranges from moderate to loud.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Food Science or a related field, or relevant experience within a food manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
• One year of experience in a food manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office preferred.
