R D Associate:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Food Science or related field Bilingual Japanese skills is a big plus, but not required Ability to understand and implement FDA, USDA and other related regulations Basic knowledge of nutrition, chemistry, microbiology and statistics The ability to taste and smell to recognize and characterize various types of foods Basic cooking skills Basic knowledge of nutrition, chemistry, microbiology and statistics Familiarity with basic lab procedures and equipment Excellent communication skills Computer proficiency in word, excel and PowerPoint Work well in a team environment; must have inquisitive mind Occasional business travel Responsibilities of the

R D Associate:

Assist in product and process development of products, implement new technologies, and perform general R D tasks, including product maintenance and new product development. Plan and conduct experiments for new products and processes Support other departments

•PD, Marketing, Sales, QC/QA, and Production Ensure regulatory compliance for processes, products, and labels Test shelf life and evaluate new and existing products Research market trends and develop new concepts and prototypes Create innovative product formulas that meet all requirements Other related duties will be assigned
