Demonstrate knowledge of using basic flavors in the development of new e-liquid formulas. Work closely with internal groups to develop successful flavors. Continuously optimize existing formulas to ensure competitiveness and success in the market. Develop or optimize e-liquid formulas according to client requirements to ensure the quality of e-liquid developments in terms of commercial viability, stability, regulatory compliance, manufacturing processes, sustainability, and product safety. Providing professional insights into the use of basic raw materials and flavor innovations, especially local American flavor preferences, turning the latest trends into positive creative concepts that drive the advancement of our flavor solutions. Monitor and be responsible for the use and surplus of flavors and R&D materials on a daily basis and inform the assistant staff to replenish R&D materials in time. Travel to other divisions in China and other regions if necessary.

About You/Candidate Profile:

If you have no experience as a flavorist, you need to be willing to join the e-cigarette industry and accept to vape at work, we will provide a period of at least 3 months of smoking training in LA or Shenzhen, China headquarters after your entry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in flavor development or formulation, such as an intermediate level understanding of essential oils, plant extracts, and specialty aroma ingredients and their application in e-liquid development, and understanding of U.S. and international flavor regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with a solid technical background, bachelor's degree in food science, food engineering, chemical engineering or related experience. Understanding of consumer research and insights, marketing, and commercial functions to support effective cross-functional teamwork on innovation projects, using trend and competitor awareness to work on project briefs. Intermediate understanding of essential oils, botanical extracts, and specialty aromatic ingredients and their use in flavor development is required. Excellent vaping skills with ability to understand how to adjust a flavor formulation as needed for flavor modifications. Ability to work accurately, quickly, and with good laboratory practices. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple projects as necessary, and address technical flavor issues related to finished products. Good knowledge of written and spoken Chinese is preferred. Working knowledge of IT systems such as MS Office is essential.
