Months, Possible Extension Location:

Cary, NC OR Johnston, IA Remote candidates will also be considered

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Central Time Travel:

Occasional travel (1-2 times per year)

Pay Rate:

$44.00 - $46.00/hr.

•Overview We are seeking an Agronomy Analytics Specialist to support data analytics and reporting efforts focused on demonstrating the value of agricultural technologies and solutions. This role will work with large agricultural datasets to generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of agronomy knowledge, geospatial analytics experience, and data analysis expertise. This individual will manage analytics projects from start to finish, including data preparation, statistical analysis, visualization, interpretation, and communication of results. Responsibilities Analyze agricultural, environmental, and geospatial datasets to identify trends and insights. Work with data from connected equipment, field trials, remote sensing platforms, weather sources, and soil datasets. Develop analytical approaches to answer business and agronomic questions. Perform data processing, statistical analysis, and visualization. Create professional reports, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF summaries to communicate findings. Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. Manage multiple analytics projects and deliver results on schedule. Required Qualifications Experience working with agricultural or agronomic datasets. Experience performing geospatial analytics within an agricultural environment. Strong understanding of agronomy principles and agricultural systems. Experience managing analytics projects from inception through delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences. Required Technical Skills ArcGIS Pro QGIS R Databricks Preferred Skills Python Tableau Power BI Experience with agricultural technology platforms Preferred Education Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Data Analytics, GIS, Statistics, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with advanced degrees should also demonstrate practical industry experience. Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on experience analyzing agricultural datasets. Strong GIS and geospatial analytics experience in the agriculture industry. Experience working with crop, soil, weather, field trial, remote sensing, or precision agriculture data. Ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and professional deliverables. Strong statistical analysis and data storytelling skills. #LI-MH1 #INDOEM
