We have an immediate need for full-time Food Technologist to join our team. We are looking for a responsible individual with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment while handling a broad variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
  • Operate equipment carefully according to instructions.
  • Measure, mix, and load ingredients.
  • Prepare and clean equipment before and after processing.
  • Perform facility inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust plant system controls to maximize performance and prevent equipment failure.
  • Maintain and keep records according to standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
  • College Degree, preferably in Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering related fields.
  • Must possess ability to read and interpret operations and safety manuals.
  • Follow directions carefully without skipping steps and be open and willing to learn.
  • Be flexible to work both independently and in a small team environment.
  • Must be responsible and punctual.
  • Analyze and apply basic troubleshooting and repair techniques on plant equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have good documentation practices.
