Research & Development Technologist leading cost-optimization projects through advanced formulation and processing improvements, while developing innovative prototypes that enhance product quality and performance.

What you get to do:

Lead product development from concept through commercialization, including new products and line extensions. Conduct pilot plant and production trials to refine formulations and improve product quality. Develop and adjust formulations using online systems and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally Provide clear project updates and support R&D efforts with prototype development. Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations while maintaining detailed project files, specifications, and product data.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Animal Science, or related field plus 2+ years of meat processing plant experience; OR Master's degree in a related field in lieu of experience (internship or lab experience may be considered) Strong knowledge of meat and ingredient functionality Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking skills Team-oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment What's in it for you: Growth potential Stability in the industry Excellent company benefits offered. !
