Culinary & Product Development Associate Food Talent Network Jersey City, NJ Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $75,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Sourcing Pre-cooking preparation Line cook experience Recipe development Food Science Bachelor's degree Achieving project delivery timelines Full Job Description Summary The Culinary & Product Development Associate will support the Corporate Executive Chef in recipe and product development, food preparation, food styling, product tastings, and test kitchen operations. The position also supports photography, video production, product innovation, and special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Corporate Executive Chef with recipe development, testing, and refinement. Prepare ingredients and organize mise in place for recipe testing, product development, and culinary demonstrations. Style food for photography, video productions, social media, and marketing materials. Participate in new product tastings, sensory evaluations, and product comparisons. Document recipe procedures, ingredient adjustments, yields, and tasting notes. Prepare recipes for photo shoots, video productions, presentations, and corporate events. Maintain an organized and sanitary test kitchen, including inventory of ingredients and supplies. Sources and purchase ingredients and culinary supplies as needed. Ensure consistency in recipe execution and food preparation. Support culinary presentations, training sessions, trade shows, and special events. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by the Corporate Executive Chef.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields 2+ years of relevant culinary experience Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines Excellent communication skills

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
