Role SLR is seeking a Principal Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer, to join our growing Land Quality & Remediation practice in either our Anchorage or Fairbanks office. Responsibilities :

Qualifications:

10 to 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including project, client, and staff leadership. Alaska work preferred. Strong technical background in environmental investigation and remediation involving soil, groundwater, vapor, and sediment and associated waste management. Strong working knowledge of CERCLA, TSCA and RCRA and Alaska-specific environmental regulations, and familiarity with Alaska's regulatory environment. Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships. Experience leading or supporting business development efforts, proposals, and client engagements. Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for growing a practice Passion for mentoring and developing others Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or related field. Alaska Civil or Environmental Professional Engineer license, Registered or Certified Geologist Hazardous waste management experience is a plus, particularly in industrial, environmental, or regulatory settings.
