Subsurface Evaluator

Job Overview Applied Service Corporation, a well-established environmental remediation company based in Lafayette, NJ. We are seeking a NJDEP Licensed Subsurface Evaluator to join our growing team. We specialize in underground storage tank removals, site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, emergency response, and helping clients achieve full NJDEP compliance. Our work makes a real difference in protecting New Jersey's environment while delivering reliable, high-quality service to residential, commercial, and municipal clients across the state. Duties Perform subsurface evaluations for unregulated heating oil tank (UHOT) system projects, including site investigations, remedial investigations, and remedial actions per NJDEP Technical Requirements (N.J.A.C. 7:26E) Conduct field inspections, oversee excavation activities, perform or supervise field screening, select soil/groundwater sampling locations, and prepare/submit required reports Ensure all work complies with NJDEP regulations, health & safety standards (including OSHA requirements), and company protocols Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and clients to deliver efficient, compliant outcomes resulting in No Further Action letters. Requirements Current Subsurface Evaluator License Relevant experience in subsurface evaluations, preferably with unregulated heating oil tanks or similar environmental remediation projects Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (field work required) Strong knowledge of

regulations, sampling protocols, and reporting requirements OSHA 40-hour

HAZWOPER

Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
