Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated Core Logging Geologists to work on-site for one of our valued clients in the mining industry. This role involves hands-on geological work in dynamic mining environments, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks. Key Responsibilities Work safely and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. Follow verbal and written instructions, policies, and standard operating procedures. Safely operate company vehicles on paved and unpaved roads. Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify, report, and help mitigate safety and environmental hazards. Log and sample drill core accurately and efficiently. Maintain organized and accurate geological data and records. Interpret geological, structural, and assay data to support exploration programs. Compile and integrate drilling, mapping, and assay data into 3D geological models. Collaborate with geologists and technical staff to support exploration and resource evaluation activities. Qualifications B.S. degree in Geology or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in core logging and sampling. Knowledge of siliciclastic depositional environments and skarn Cu-Au mineralization associated with porphyry systems. Experience identifying lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural features in drill core. Proficiency with geological software; experience with Leapfrog and Acquire preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Previous mining or mineral exploration experience preferred. Surface MSHA certification preferred. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in field and core shed environments. What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) and per diem. PPE allowance.
