Job Description
Weston & Sampson is seeking an entry-level Geologist/Hydrogeologist with 0-2 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Suffern, NY office. What you'll do: Hydrogeologic /geologic investigations Pumping test supervision Water-quality sampling Streamflow gaging GIS map/graphics generation Soil sampling and logging during well installation Permit and report writing What you will bring: BS in Geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings Practical knowledge of GIS, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Some travel will be required to conduct field work Valid driver's license is required.
