Job Description

Weston & Sampson is seeking a geologist/hydrogeologist with 2 - 5+ years of experience to join the Water Discipline in our Suffern, NY office. What you'll do: Hydrogeologic/geologic investigations Pumping test supervision Water-quality sampling Streamflow gaging GIS map/graphics generation Monitoring and production well drilling oversight Soil sampling and logging during well installation Data compilation and interpretation Permit and report writing What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology or water resources related field (M.S. preferred) 2 to 5+ years of experience A positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting Enthusiasm for completing field work at a variety of site settings Proficiency in preparing GIS figures, GIS data evaluation, data entry and management using Microsoft Suite Experience with Grapher, Surfer and Aqtesolv programs a plus Strong GIS skills are a must Excellent written and verbal communication skills Some travel will be required to conduct field work Valid driver's license is required Ability to independently complete field tasks with limited instruction Salary Range $65,000 - $82,000 Based on
