This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and will report to the Manager - Geoscience. This position will be responsible for the interpretation and analysis of various kinds of geological data and make recommendations to management, based on that analysis. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Correlate formations from well logs and create cross-sections Construct reservoir property maps from well data Overall geological analysis and prospectivity of properties Provide technical support and recommendations for drilling, completion, and production operations Collaborate with multiple disciplines to integrate geological analysis into projects Prepare technical reports and presentations to management and stakeholders Other duties assigned as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum Requirements:

Comprehensive understanding of geological principles associated with petroleum exploration Considerable experience with unconventional petroleum exploration Extensive experience and expertise with geological interpretation software Firm understanding of petrophysical principles and analysis associated with wireline logs and cores Understanding of drilling and production operations Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required Must be able to present highly technical information in a concise and clear manner to upper management Experience incorporating seismic data into a geological interpretation

Preferred:

GeoGraphix software experience Kingdom software experience Experience with geosteering and well planning logistics Proficiency in Spotfire or Power BI Field operations geology: mudlogging or wireline Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning applications in geology

Education & Work Experience Required Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Geology or Geosciences 10+ years of experience in geological evaluations within the oil and gas industry Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with unconventional reservoir evaluation and development

Preferred:
