Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services. Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations. Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success. Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required or equivalent education, training and experience with certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency (ie ASCP). Experience 0-2 years, > 1 year IRL Experience preferred, of relevant laboratory experience meeting Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist educational requirements or 5 years or more experience as Medical Laboratory Technician About Us Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research.
