• GI Oncologist:

  Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor - University of Arizona Cancer Center
• The University of Arizona Cancer Center, Division of Hematology Oncology is actively recruiting for a GI Oncologist with outstanding clinical acumen and knowledge around the multidisciplinary management of GI cancers.
• Applicants must be an exceptionally qualified clinical or clinical-translational scientist, board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology with experience caring for patients with gastrointestinal cancers within a multidisciplinary oncology setting.

The GI Oncology group is a collaborative team committed to offering the best cutting-edge care to patients. Experience in writing and developing clinical trial protocols and leading clinical trials is preferred as well as a commitment to educating the next generation of oncologists. The candidate selected will receive a faculty appointment to the University of Arizona consistent with their credentials. The University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center headquartered in Arizona, and it is dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research and education. The Division of Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine -Tucson (UA COM-T) is an essential component of the UACC organized to teach students and house staff, excel at clinical and clinical-translational research, and to bring to patients state-of-the-art treatment.

• The Division has 18 physician faculty and 15 APPs.
