Job Description

Medical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) -

Travel/Contract Opportunity Location:

Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center - Palo Alto, CA Ghost RX is currently seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) for a full-time contract opportunity supporting our nation's Veterans at the VA Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment while gaining valuable federal experience.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating weekends

Compensation:

$60/hour

Contract Details:

Full-time, contract position Credentialing timeline: approximately 6-8 weeks

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of laboratory testing across multiple disciplines Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of results Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of Medical Laboratory experience Active ASCP certification required Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
