Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist A leading healthcare organization in North Central Florida is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist to join its growing laboratory team. Position Summary The Medical Laboratory Scientist plays an essential role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results that directly impact patient diagnosis and treatment. This position offers exposure to a wide range of testing methodologies and complex clinical cases in a dynamic hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing on blood, tissue, and other patient specimens utilizing automated and manual laboratory methods Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results with a high level of accuracy Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Adhere to quality control and quality assurance standards Support laboratory operations by following established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Exercise independent judgment when evaluating specimens and test results Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and healthcare providers to ensure exceptional patient care Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related scientific field Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (active or eligible) required Completion of an accredited laboratory training program or equivalent laboratory experience Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
