Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist position in Terre Haute, Indiana. Full-time role supporting patient diagnosis and treatment through a range of clinical laboratory tests.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and advanced laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, coagulation, and immunology Collect, receive, prepare, and process patient specimens according to laboratory protocols Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation Analyze and verify laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting Identify and communicate critical or abnormal results per established procedures Perform quality control testing and maintain appropriate documentation Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures Maintain accurate patient records, test results, and laboratory documentation Recognize testing discrepancies and take corrective action Work collaboratively with laboratory staff, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and laboratory standards Monitor laboratory supplies, reagents, and inventory levels

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field for MLT Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related discipline for MT/MLS New graduates who meet certification eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control, and safety practices Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment

Preferred Skills:

ASCP, AMT, or equivalent national certification Previous clinical laboratory experience
