Job Description
Lundbeck seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to support rare epilepsies across the North Central region. This field-based role builds scientific partnerships with neurologists, epileptologists, and key centers of excellence. The MSL provides fair-balanced medical information, leads scientific presentations, and supports clinical research and evidence generation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role informs strategy with real-world insights while ensuring compliance with all regulations, aligned to Lundbeck's patient-focused, neuroscience-driven mission. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scientific relationships with neurologists, epileptologists, and rare epilepsy centers of excellence in the North Central region Communicate complex clinical and scientific data in a clear, fair-balanced, and compliant manner to external stakeholders Support investigator-initiated and company-sponsored clinical research in rare epilepsies Gather and share field insights to inform medical and commercial strategy Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from clinicians and institutions Collaborate with cross-functional partners in medical, clinical, and commercial while maintaining clear role boundaries Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical guidelines in medical affairs activities Support launch and lifecycle management of neuroscience therapies in rare epilepsies Plan and manage regional field activities, travel, and stakeholder engagement efficiently Required Skills Medical affairs KOL engagement Clinical data interpretation Scientific communication Neurology/epilepsy expertise Presentation skills Cross-functional collaboration Medical education development Compliance with pharma regulations Field territory management
