Associate Med-Neurological Surgery - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26004173) The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery is hiring a Post Doctoral Associate in the lab of Dr. Marco Capogrosso. The candidate will lead the data analysis of all human electrophysiology and behavioral assessment including HDEMG analysis in collaboration with Dr. Pirondini. Moreover, he will participate to experimental activities in mice in Aim 1, 2 and 3 with frequent travels to Columbia University to help adjust SCS parameters in the Mentis and Pellizzoni laboratories as well as collaborating with their teams to analyze mice kinematics and behavior. The candidate is also expected to develop computer model of biomechanics to explain how motor unit dysfunction disrupts torque production and how SCS recovery of function changes torque production properties Minimum education to be considered for this position is a PhD in Neuroscience.
