Responsibilities• Design, fabricate, and characterize micro -and nanoscale devices for advanced optical imaging systems, biosensors, and MEMS- enabled instrumentation using cleanroom microfabrication techniques. Perform photolithography, thin-film deposition, nanofabrication, device characterization, optical testing, and system integration to support biomedical imaging research. Collaborate with engineers, scientists, physicians, and trainees to develop innovative technologies for real-time optical biopsy, early cancer detection and image-guided surgery. Apply image analysis, machine learning and computational methods to evaluate device performance and improve diagnostic capability. Maintain laboratory documentation, equipment, safety compliance, and perform other related research duties as assigned.
