Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Apply for this opportunity as an MT/MLT (Generalist) in Coventry, Rhode Island! Position is full-time on the day shift for permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing
  • Perform basic laboratory tests (hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, etc.)
  • Operate laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Record test results and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Ensure laboratory procedures are followed according to standards and regulations
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy of results
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure supplies are stocked Additional Information

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • ASCP certification (or equivalent certification like AMT or AAB) required
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and equipment
