Location:
On-site (Clinical Laboratory) Job Summary We are seeking a certified Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic testing, quality control, and phlebotomy in a fast-paced laboratory setting. This role supports both technical procedures and laboratory instrumentation maintenance while assisting the Laboratory Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing, evaluate specimen integrity, and report accurate test results. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation. Perform phlebotomy and specimen accessioning as needed. Process test orders, results, and pending lists using Cerner/STAR LIS systems. Adhere to CAP inspections standards, quality control protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Communicate test results clearly to physicians, nurses, and laboratory leadership.
Qualifications Certification & Education Certification:
ASCP, ASCPi, NCA, or AMT registered as MT, MLS, or IMLS (Required).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent training meeting certifying board standards).
Skills & Requirements Experience:
Open to entry-level candidates.
Technical:
Hands-on experience operating lab instrumentation and LIS software.
Physical:
Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass normal color vision testing.
Flexibility:
