JOB PURPOSE

The CCTV Camera Technician is responsible for operating robotic camera equipment to inspect and document conditions within underground storm, sanitary, or other pipe systems. This position is covered under the Laborers' Union and follows the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The technician supports maintenance, repair, and assessment efforts by producing high-quality video footage and documentation of pipelines in various field conditions.

standards for defect coding and documentation (training provided if needed) Set up, break down, and maintain camera equipment and related inspection tools Record and label video footage accurately using software systems Interpret and log pipeline conditions, obstructions, and structural issues during inspection Work safely around traffic, open excavations, confined spaces, and live utilities Maintain cleanliness and functionality of truck, camera, and gear Work collaboratively with laborers, operators, and supervisors on job sites Perform physical labor as needed to support crew when not operating the camera

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a member of (or willing to join) the Laborers' Union - Local 120 Valid driver's license with clean driving record Hold valid

PACP/MACP/LACP

certifications (or is willing to obtain); understands defect coding and inspection standards for pipelines, manholes, and laterals CCTV pipeline inspection experience preferred but not required (on-the-job training may be provided) Basic computer skills for operating inspection software Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and perform physical tasks in outdoor environments, in confined spaces and around wastewater Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to job sites as needed Must meet company driver's safety standards and pass a motor vehicle report background check Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Outdoor field work in all weather conditions Work in and around manholes, traffic, confined spaces, and construction zones May require walking long distances, standing for long periods, lifting, crouching, and working in wet or muddy environments

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time, hourly position. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may be required based on project needs. Regular and consistent attendance is required.
