Job Description Flexjet is seeking an Aviation Meteorologist to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely weather information to support flight operations and ensure safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze weather data to provide forecasts and updates. Communicate weather information to flight crews and operations personnel. Develop and maintain weather-related policies and procedures. Utilize meteorological software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in meteorology. Provide training and support to staff on weather-related issues. Prepare reports and presentations on weather impacts on operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation meteorology. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in meteorological software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation weather standards.
