8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty Previous laboratory experience in Microbiology California license required and must be in hand at the time of submission EMSA is not accepted Strong laboratory and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Strong communication and attention to detail Must meet all applicable compliance and onboarding requirements Responsibilities Perform microbiology laboratory testing according to established procedures and protocols. Process, analyze, and evaluate clinical specimens. Perform identification and analysis of microorganisms. Accurately document laboratory procedures and test results. Maintain quality control and quality assurance standards. Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, processing, and storage. Operate laboratory equipment safely and appropriately. Review and report test results accurately and within established timeframes. Follow laboratory safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Pay:

$48.00 - $53.00 per hour
