Quality Control Microbiologist

The QC Microbiologist will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, maintaining environmental monitoring programs, and supporting laboratory qualification and validation activities. The role requires strong knowledge of sterile manufacturing environments and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in quality control laboratories supporting sterile or injectable pharmaceutical production and be familiar with microbiological test methods used in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

Salary:

$70,000 - $80,000 per year Responsibilities Perform routine microbiological testing including Sterility Testing and Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET) Conduct environmental monitoring Perform water system microbiological analysis Conduct growth promotion testing and particulate matter testing Support microbiology laboratory qualification and validation activities Participate in Media Fill Validation activities Perform testing related to Biological Indicators and endotoxin indicators Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines Requirements Bachelor's degree in Microbiology , Biology, or related life science field 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical QC microbiology Experience with microbiological testing and environmental monitoring Familiarity with sterile or injectable pharmaceutical manufacturing Knowledge of •Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations Strong documentation and laboratory skills #Pro123
