As a QC Microbiologist I, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of pharmaceutical products. Based in Tampa, Florida, you will support microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and quality initiatives that help deliver high-quality products to customers and patients around the world. The full list of our global benefits can also be found on What you will do Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, stability samples, utilities, and finished products. Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including water sampling, testing, and data trending. Perform microorganism identification, growth promotion testing, and media sterility testing. Investigate laboratory deviations, support corrective actions, and prepare accurate documentation. Execute method validations, equipment qualifications, and microbiology-related projects. Review microbiology procedures and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits. Partner with manufacturing, quality, and external laboratories to ensure compliance and timely product release. Traveling locally between sites in Tampa will be required and may require weekend, holiday, or 12 hrs. shift coverage. What we are looking for Science-based associate's degree At least 3 years of microbiology experience in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment. Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques, aseptic practices, and environmental monitoring programs. Familiarity with USP , , and requirements and microbiological investigations. Experience using laboratory systems such as LIMS and electronic quality management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
