North Chicago, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $22.00 - 25.72 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Collect environmental and utility samples for microbiological and chemical testing, including routine water and swab tests.

Perform analytical and microbial test methods to support product and material release with minimal error.

Independently troubleshoot and resolve analytical techniques and instrument issues.

Interpret experimental data for conformance with product specifications and determine root causes for exception events.

Maintain training certifications and seamlessly adapt to work across multiple laboratory functional areas.

qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology (or related science); OR an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of lab experience; OR a High School Diploma with 5+ years of directly related laboratory experience.

Ability to work effectively under general supervision and manage your own time to multi-task.

Capability to sit, stand, walk, and comfortably lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds in a manufacturing and laboratory environment. #LI-AO1 skills: Microbiology, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
