Job Description
Scientist
Contractor(s) shall provide services in support of the overall functions of the Laboratory of Viral Diseases LVD/NIH located in Bethesda, Maryland.
MANDATORY EDUCATION
PhD or Master's degree with at least five (5) years of post-masters experience. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a laboratory setting. Experience in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Assays (ChIP Assays).
FIELD OF STUDY
Immunology, Microbiology, Micropathology, Science, and Biology
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of statistics, of virology, and of epigenetics is required. Experience working with DNA viruses; titering, infection of tissue culture cells, fluorescent and confocal microscopy . Familiarity with bioinformatic analyses of RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-seq, and protein purification chromatography.
