Responsible for executing complex Next Generation Sequencing Testing Services and data interpretation following documented test methods and procedures according to cGMP. Perform method development work as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform laboratory activities necessary for next generation sequencing testing including but not limited to;
- Interpret data and troubleshoot assays.
- Participate in the validation and qualification
- Make detailed observations and maintain clear, accurate and timely documentation of all laboratory work.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Company policies or procedures. Actively participate in laboratory maintenance.
- Review and edit SOPs, protocols and testing documentation.
- Participate in client/sponsor relationships (e.g. technology transfer, conference calls and sharing of technical information).
- Efficiently organize, prioritize and plan work schedule.
- Perform training for less experienced colleagues.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Follow all SOPs, STMs, and cGMP guidelines as they relate to specific tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Biology or related discipline.Experience:
Minimum 2 years' related industry experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or contract laboratory environment.- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
