Ampro Industries, Inc. is currently hiring for a microbiologist.
Responsibilities Include:
Troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment and clean laboratory Sample Tracking Investigate Sporadic Defects, Quality Issues, and Root Causes Investigate Identified Quality Issues and Issue related to Environmental Monitoring Provide support to Quality and Research and Development Implement Process Control Systems for Environmental Monitoring activities Placing orders for Microbiological Supplies Colony Expansion of BioSafety Level II Microbes Autoclaving Waste Determination of Microbial Identity (Gram Stain, etc.) Collection and Organization of Data in Excel or Other Formats Tracking and Organization of Microbiological Results from Testing Electronic Batch Releases of Finished Goods to Warehouse for Distribution Conduct regular audits to assure compliance with
Quality Protocol and Sanitation Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in microbiology or related field Excellent communication, time management, and computer skills Strong attention to detail
