Researcher- Hatley's Lab Location Memphis, TN Category Laboratory Sciences & Support Department Oncology Shift Weekday Day Position Type Full Time Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Req # JR7566 Job Description Join our Team! The laboratory of Mark Hatley seeks a Research Technologist to assist the principal investigator with the collection and analysis for research projects in an entry-level capacity . The individual with conduct specific projects with guidance and maintain efficient laboratory operations. The individual will perform duties in order to meet the goals and objectives of the laboratory. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and animal models preferred. The lab leverages genetically engineered mouse models, patient-derived xenografts, human and mouse tumor and primary cell lines as well as induced pluripotent stem cells as model systems to interrogate the underlying pathobiology of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma. The Hatley lab is a very collaborative , interactive environment focused on scientific and career development of trainees . The lab supports a healthy work/life balance and diversity with a focus on career development. Four former postdocs are now tenure track Assistant Professors at academic institutions. Dr. Hatley was the 2019 mentor of the year at St. Jude.
