As a Senior Microbiologist, you will provide senior-level scientific leadership across microbiology activities that support research, development, and quality objectives. The role offers the chance to contribute meaningful expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape strong laboratory practices that support both day-to-day execution and longer-term study success. Responsibilities Lead microbiological testing and analysis across research and development programs Design and validate microbiology methods to support product quality and compliance Interpret laboratory results and present findings to cross-functional scientific teams Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to GLP and GMP standards Mentor junior laboratory staff and contribute to study planning and execution Requirements PhD in microbiology or another relevant scientific field. 10+ years of professional experience in microbiology, including pharmaceutical QC microbiology. Hands-on experience with method development, method validation, and method transfer. Experience with environmental monitoring and sterility or bioburden testing. Strong working knowledge of GLP and GMP within pharmaceutical microbiology environments. Experience using LIMS, endotoxin testing platforms, and microbial identification systems. Comfortable working with core laboratory equipment, including autoclaves and biosafety cabinets. Proven ability to interpret and present microbiology findings to cross-functional scientific teams, partner with QA or manufacturing, and mentor junior lab staff.
