Full Job Description Description:
The Microbiology Analyst is a trained scientist responsible for the technical analysis and accountability of samples submitted for microbiological testing at Exact Scientific Services. This position requires firm understanding of all current established ISO 17025 and non-ISO standard operating procedures (including DOE methods), reference materials and client preferences. Microbiology analysts must maintain the laboratory environment and equipment to ensure appropriate turnaround times, smooth employee synergy and efficient workflow. Communication between employees with regards to testing progression is imperative to successfully completing analysis. Training for the position of analyst will be handled by the Director, QA Director, and senior analysts and the duration of the training period will vary depending on scientific background and experience. Time:
Initial training will be 40 hours a week 5 days a week, moving to 4 days a week after applicable training takes place. Overtime is possible, with occasion Saturday partial day work.
Requirements:
BA-Science/BS and 2 years Analyst or MS Full time position Laboratory experience (4 years)
