Job Description

Description SUMMARY This position ensures proper maintenance and operational status of equipment. Affected equipment includes manufacturing equipment and support systems utilized by the plant. This position is onsite at our Ferndale, WA location - Monday-Thursday, 4 PM-2:30 AM.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a wide variety of machinery repairs and services. Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Responsible for alerting the Team Leader of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur. Maintain a professional manner with all, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner. Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical experience. Welding experience. Fabrication experience. Electrical experience. Experience working with hander presses. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds. Ability to squat, kneel, bend and climb stairs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Three years of electrical, mechanical, and fabrication experience is required. Previous experience in bottling/packaging preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. On-call availability outside of normal working hours as needed.
