Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and testing industry, is seeking a Lab Tech to join their team. As a Lab Tech, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the testing and analysis team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$18-$22/hr
Shift:
6 am - 230 pm What's the Job? Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and create metal specimens for testing Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure they are performed within the required time frame Perform various analytical and physical tests including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, and atomic absorption analysis Create detailed test reports outlining procedures and results of tests performed Review testing records for accuracy and monitor process tank temperatures to ensure compliance with customer specifications What's Needed? High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing laboratories Ability to operate corrosion resistance chambers and perform minor maintenance Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE and safety equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail What's in it for me?
